Since i have been in a computer class for three years, i have been making small flash programs and editors.

I have made a very large product and i think it will be a hit.

I am thinking about making a website to sell, and offer demo's, about my flash programs.

I have made 4 demo's and 6 products for sale.

the demo's are.

- banner demo
-intro demo
-music player demo
-Flash smiley Creator demo

the limitations to these demo's are...
-cannot be saved onto the computer
-restricted to few fonts and backgrounds
-restricted to affects
-more restrictions

my six products are.

-Flash Banner Maker
-Flash Intro Maker
- Flash Music Player Creator + 5 sample songs (created using Dj MK's Song Mixer)
-Flash Smiley Creator w/ 48 custom smiley outlines
-Flash Game Creator (bigging user)
-Flash Game Creator (advanced user)

im not sure on the prices yet, but i think it will be good.

All flash programs are made by me with help from my friends.

What do you think?

Hey NICK, i saw you posting regarding the domain in the HB forums.. If you are planning to host a website which is for selling products, dont go for a free host.. coz, they are not reliable..

Regarding your flash program, thats really a good idea.. There are no such products that are popular.. so, if yours is a hit, its a jackpot :)

All the best, and hoping to see u with your website launched soon..

Have you considered launching one product at a time?

You will probably have more success if you launch one product and then work on it until it is really good and has received good customer reviews, than if you launch six products before they are fully ready and tested.

Once you have one successful product it will be easier to launch the other ones.

Oh, thats a good idea Fergal, i haven't thought of it that way.
Il try that. But i might not do it now because i don't have money to make my own website. And im only 14. Money is hard for me to get haha.

If you are serious about selling products Nick, then I'd really suggest trying to get a paid host or an extremely good free host. If your websites goes down at times, then it will look very unprofessional to your potential customers. You can always try Hostbidder for hosting since you know it's reliable, but if you truly want to run a professional shop, then paid hosting is really the only way to go. Good luck with your shop!

Seems like a good idea but I would devide them as Fergal already said. One program per month or something like that. You may also consider to offer your services as a freelancer for example. You can ask people what site or other flash object they want so you can make it for them?
I know there exist some very good video tutorials about ASP.NET which are payable. Maybe you can do the same with Flash CS3 because there are not much tutorials about Actionscript 3.0 yet...
