Its decided to not work recently and after a long conversation with a very helpful phone number, they think it would be best for me to replace the unit itself under manufactures warranty which is 2 years, 1 year with retailer and 1 year with buffalo themselves.
Ive sent an email with details for a customer product form which they will be sending out to me shortly. Once I get it through the post, then I will be able to get a replacement for that product.
Bit of a bummer really and some hassle, but worth it in the end as I will get one thats brand spanking new :D
Although the data what was on I can no longer access :G ..luckly I backed up everything on my memory sticks and other equipment.
Tad anoyed.
