why do you want them to be pmed. these type of suggestions should be open.

I think the a great way is to put the link in your signature on the forums. this creates back links. or try traffic exchanges.

If you look at d1976's posts you will notice that he/she was here only to make them to try and drive traffic to his/her site, and get back links from this site.

This tactic, how do I drive traffic to my site, is classic in getting people to click on the link, driving traffic to the site. Doing a Google search (http://www.google.com/search?num=100&hl=en&safe=off&q=shahdipal+blogspot&btnG=Search) you will see that the number of forums this person posted at over a short time frame is done only for these purposes. Not to actually participate in any forum.

If this is the case then he will never get popularity to his blog this way.This is only a temporary method to get traffic by spam posting.There are many more legitimate ways to get traffic and I also think that spam posting is much more tedious than trying some good methods like promoting through blogrush,mybloglog,blogroll link exchange etc.

I think the easiest way is to write unique content and submit it to places like digg, stumbleupon, trailfire, reddit, technorati, and social bookmarks alike. There is a very good opportunity for traffic through social bookmarking and if your content is worth while your customers will return. Other than that though, blogs are harder traffic to build because there is so many to choose from. I promote my blog through cheap adwords and social networking and it works great for me.

True true, but every little bit of traffic helps, and, the back links developed by this method do not hurt either.
