Currently have a bad bad day, following on from a bad week last week. My son's dog passed away, a friend's friend took his own life and one of my team members at work has admitted to suffering from depression and another member of the team has not been too helpful towards her...... till I keep myself going knowing only another 39 weeks until I move back to the UK.

Started off with a bad day -- a project for PPD was due, I thought it was due Thursday so had to pull a small miracle to get my section finished. Discovered one of the lads doing the project with me wasn't pulling his weight and did absolutely nothing for it, so had to do his section too, to get the project finished, printed and submitted in time :(

Finished early though and spent the day window shopping for my new Laptop. 100% decided on the MacBook Pro now, will be getting it in next few days once a cheque I lodged clears :)

Have a Java Programming exam tomorrow so time to hit the books.

Sounds like you are having a rough time of it Sean. Sorry to hear about your son's dog. They say that it can be good for kids to lose a pet because it teaches them about life. I'm sure that's no consolation and I've seen myself how heartbroken kids can be when they lose a family pet.

These are stressful times for lots of people and this can lead to depression and other stress related illnesses. All the more reason why people should pull together and do their best to help each other. Admitting to suffering from depression is a big step in the right direction and I hope your colleague is getting professional help.

I'm taking my car for an NCT test soon. It's a government test to verify that it is road worthy.It's a joke. I put a car I bought as a "fixer upper" through and it failed - I knew it would but I put it through to get an idea of what needed doing on top of what I had already done. Stupid things needed to be done.

So I re-booked, did nothing to the car except on the morning of the test put a small amount of petrol and injector cleaner into the tank (diesel car) and really went nuts on the accelerator. It pass the emissions and they overlooked the rest of the problems (small oil leak from rocker cover gasket, passenger side washer jet blocked).

I thought the test was for safety, but small things like that are causing a lot of vehicles to fail, making the NCT a nice money making racket for the fat cats!

Yes. On a weekend there are jet ski's and water skiers everywhere. However, apparently there have been a few Bull Sharks caught in the river (it is not far from the sea) and a little further up a Hammerhead... So although you can swim in it, it becomes a little bit of an extreme sport. ;-) ... I prefer our pool!

Relaxing (well, networking) after spending the morning stressing as my son had to be put to sleep at the dentists. As a parent it is not good to see your child with a tube coming out of their mouth.. It took 2 hours of work, but all is OK now.

I have a trading system (not an indicator) that can reach 1000-2000 pips a week (with a small lot). besides that, I also have an EA that makes me 10% profit per day from my capital. I have tried in a live account, not a demo account (By using a little money). I'm looking for investor who wanted to entrust his money to get a greater interest than the savings in the bank.

But he was 3 days did not respond to my messages again. Maybe he was not interested. I dont know... :( but that's okay. Keep smiling.. :D
