Fergal, my suggestion is to create a Freebies section/forum in the Community Area where members can post freebie offers. This would be different than the "Online Resources" because most freebies are available within a time frame or limit.

I'll give an example: last week Willie Crawford, one of the most respected and experienced IM marketers, was giving away a $397 course for free. It wasn't the usual "just pay s+h" or in exchange for a magazine subscription, all one needed to do was use Willie's affiliate link to a website, enter an email address and download a free report.

This kind of opportunities come and go very quickly, so if we had a place to post them members would have a chance to benefit from them.

Also, when a member has a valuable report/video/software he'd like to share, he'd just post it on the Freebies section.

Thanks for the suggestion junglekid, I'll certainly consider it.

As it stands, members are welcome to post free offers in the relevant forum section. For example the free affiliate offer you mention could have been posted in our Online Business Forum. If a member is promoting their own free offer they can advertise it in Member Ads (http://www.businessadviceforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=11) section.

Don't get me wrong, I do think it's a great idea and now that you've mentioned it I have noticed that the freebie sections are amongst the busiest on other forums.

I'd welcome the opinions of other members.
