This blog post (http://clientmagnetsblog.com/an-unusual-but-highly-effective-marketing-technique.php) states that you can increase sales of your products by blessing them.

...a store owner ... would go around her store, touching the items that she sold, and silently blessing them. Whenever she did this, trade would pick up.

...decided to sell some of my old books on Amazon...for about two weeks, but no orders came. ...So I sat down and I picked up each book ..I thought about what I had learned from the book, and gave gratitude for it ...All six books sold out in the next 48 hours.

Now I firmly believe that if you feel gratitude, faith & belief in your products, that this will be reflected in how you present them for sale, whether that presentation is in writing, over the phone or face to face. The recipient of the communication will feel your belief and positivity. and this will help with sales.

However, I have my doubts that blessing books that are already listed for sale on the web, could somehow result in them all being sold. What do you think?

Thanks, Fergal for this technique ..I will surely give it a try ..Though it seems to me a superstitious one as we call in India to such type of practices "TUTKA"""...

Lets see does it increase my sales..although I don't have any product piece too which I am trying selling...:)

Wouldn't it be great if that really worked? I don't think the Deity puts much stock in giving humans material gain. I don't think he's a genie and I don't believe there is any magical incantation whether it's a blessing or a witch's brew to bring success to human endeavors of any type.

Ofcourse it's true, because if you truly know and have faith in them, you'll present them in a true way, and you don't have to fake your presentation about the products. So, in a nutshell, love your products and trust them so they can "do their job" in return.

I definitely agree with you, Fergal. Positive thinking will bring positive action/results towards you. Isn't it what the Law of Attracion is all about?

I believe that thinking positive before and while writing a sales description of a product will help with sales, because your positive thoughts will be reflected in the description you write. However, if you have already written and posted a sales description online and you have no further communication with potential customers, do you think that positive thinking will then help sales?

I believe that your thinking Or your good conscience with good motives are some silent factors that affect our rate of success from some angle or in some way too!!!!
They are in fact at work in help you achieve your goals but being hidden behind the curtains..:)

Where I live, all life seems to revolve around the temple and the monks. If a well known monk organizes a fair or makes a new amulet then it is almost guaranteed to attract a huge crowd and everything will be sold out very quickly.

I think it is superstitious nonsense but I would never say that out loud over here.

I'd much prefer focusing on providing value to my customers, so that they will be satisfied, talk to others about their positive experience and come back. However, it is important that you believe in your business and have confidence in it. You shouldn't expect others to believe and have confidence in you, if you don't have it yourself.

customer loyalty is so important, maybe we can use some promotions: free gifts etc

This is very interesting and strange this is good if it worked for you but I don't think it will work for all.

Quite interesting. I've never tried it - But doubt it. Has it worked for anyone else here ? I mean, I'm sure there is some energy that gets transmitted and our thoughts and wishes can be quite powerful but yes more so for physical goods - not for e-books or such products ? Any thoughts, guys ?

I think it works for people who have faith. Blessing our products, whether it's merchandise or online stuff like ebooks, will have a change in our attitude and I guess this is the trick to it. If we have a positive and winning attitude then definitely our products will be more salable.

I'm not discounting that God also helps when we bless our products though. :)

Won't it be great if it worked everytime? These type of facts are blindbelief. Touching and blessing them is your believe. It doesn't work everytime. Instead of those blessing, you must do Marketing research and involve some strategy.
