How did you decide on your BAF username, does it have any meaning?

I'm afraid I wasn't very creative, my username is my real first name. You?

Basically i love playing football and i find myself as a good player 'a good football striker' so i usually use the username Superbstriker at most of the forums, have used superbs here as i found it available :)

I always use Norrad when I sign up anywhere, it's basically just my first name spelt backwards. I can't remember how I came up with it though, it may have been because all the other awesome nicks were taken.

I got my name from my make-money-online website which is DollarMirror.com. I think it would be a great way to be known and promote the site at the same time if I'm gonna use such a name. So there, I come up with DollarMirrordotcomGuy which I realized later on is quite long... But I love it anyway.

Same here. That's my name, short and sweet. Though for some reason I often get called Kim offline by people with bad memories. They know it's short and begins with a K. That's their best guess. :)

Nice post, fergal. My username comes from my old gmail id - I was thinking of all fancy names and then just thought - Why fancy it up so much ? Lets keep it simple and then i came upon 'SimplyJo' (Jo is my nick name). Since then I've been using this username in all forums etc.. :) Keeps things simple.

Good thinking, unfortunately I have different names on different forums, some of them based on the name of the website I was busy with at the time. Hence, I use my real name as much as possible now.

I first heard of my username when it was mentioned in Joseph Stalin's speech about the new Constitution for the Union of the Soviet Socialistic Republics in 1937 through Youtube. Ever since then, I find it to be quite the catchy word and have decided to use it in conjunction with two other usernames which I rotate and utilize when best I see fit.

To start, here's mine:
My former username is GekiViolet. It comes from a fictional character from the show Jyuken Sentai Gekiranger last 2007. I'm very amazed on his skills so I started using that name from then on. Here he is:

But one time, I was recruited to become a Splash designer for a fansubbing group named Skewed-Studios Fansubs who are fansubbing Japanese shows especially drama and tokusatsu. Our head told me that that name, GekiViole, is already so famous and many users are currently using it. So to become unique, I put there my nick name, which is Dan, and drop the word Violet. So it becomes GekiDan.

From then on, I'm using GekiDan as my username on all forums that I joined.

I always use "kguru1979" as my user name. This accidentally occurred since in some registration it asked for a combination of name and number. Hence I combined my name and year of birth and it become a habit..!

One thing ... if you put my user name in Google search, you can see the same name registered in different websites..!

I always confuse about the first name and last name, in our term, first name is sur name, and last name is my real name. but i notice in US, they tend to put last name as sur name for chinese. No matter waht the difference in definition, kiatsiang is my name.

Only chinese and korean are putting their surname (or family) before the name, it is opposite the western country. However, as i know japanese dont, they are same as western country, put the surname after the name

I have been a fan of Japanese shows since 2007 and I can see clearly that they always put their family name before their first name. But there are some instances, especially when one is called or named by anyon from western countries, more likely, it's the opposite.

Well simple it's my real life nickname and I got branded with it about 2 years ago and it has stuck. I was reading through a Phone book and I came across the last name KIRBY and I'm like "Oh what kind of last name is Kibby." So I miss read KIRBY as Kibby. For me, its youngkia1, i love kia car, i have collections of them, and my very first car is the small kia car and up to this day I'm still using it. That is the reason, i always use "young" because it is small "kia" the brand and "1" just like i've said it is my first car. That is why i got "youngkia1." Hmmm...My username is bensh06. bensh is a nickname given to me by my mother because my name is vince. I don't know why. I like it though it is kind of unique for me. :P
