Do you guys think it's a good time to go into Real Estate Business? With the FED likely to cut interest rate further, I think getting low interest rate loan is now possible and to use it to purchase some potential high value home and resell it later. Anyone doing this at the moment?

Real estate business is going great. But for investment purposes you have to see the other factors too like future growth of the area, other commercial investments like upcoming malls or like that. If you know the area well, then that will be further plus on your side. Just use your observation and invest it. I will definately be fortune for you later in your life. Best of luck. Bye.

As has often been said, they are not making any more land. This suggests that property can be a good investment because the supply of it is not being increased. As they also say, the three most important things when choosing a property is "location, location, location". You need to know the area where you are considering purchasing a property. If the geographic area begins to experience social problems and becomes known as a "no go" area the value of your investment can fall dramatically.
in addition to capital appreciation, i.e. increases in the value of the property, you should also factor in the income you will get from the property on an ongoing basis. In other words try to buy a property that will provide you with a good rental yield.

In certain areas the real estate market isn't doing well. It's a great time to invest and hold until the market turns around.

You got to take opportunity to those 3rd world countries to make money in real estate and buy from direct owners only. In that way you can deal a far more lower price than with a broker.

My mom is a real estate agent, and she is worried about the prices going hay wire.
She said something about taxes being raised, and that all these houses are going into foreclosure.
I don't think now, is a very good time for real estate investment.

It depends upon which area you are investing. I am in india and here in some metropolitan cities the rates are increasing at a great rate! They have doubled in mere 2 years! SO thats i think a great rate of increase. Also there is a trade-off on price and quality locality. If you have huge money then only you can afford prime locations otherwise you have to buy at remote places which have less rate of increase of value.

Real estate have always been prolific business, but bear in mind its highly location dependent. Good luck with your future endeavour.

I think the real estate business depends on the locality you are from. Because in one country the interest rates may have been slashed and may be in the boom. But in most of the countries it is not like that. But to me, i think this is one of the best investment where you can maximise your returns. I have also planned to invest in that when i get some bucks.

One should diversify his investments and I think if you are correct in choosing the land/flat or any real estate property then you can make some quick bucks. And I think there is a lot of investment so many cant afford.

May be the realstate business scene in down in many economies around the world, but its only the matter of time when this business will resume its heydays. With ever increasing population the demand of land will only rise. In Economies like India and other developing countries realstate sector is booming and its always a safe bet on realstate.

yep.. I completely do agree with you. Even, as being real estate buyers agent (http://www.buyersagent.net), I personally believe that recent down economy trend is also a good time for investment.

But the current recession has affected the real estate industry the most. My work is too ill to face the effects of the market crisis. My client is down and I need more leads to keep in business. Where can I get help?

I attended a real estate seminar last month and this field is still one of the best long term investments as long as one can deal with the tenants. If a system is in place to manage tenants without losing money on vacancies and issues that come up, it's still a cornerstone of wealth creation.

Real estate prices have collapsed in many countries in recent years. People who purchased property in the period up to 2007 are now sitting on substantial losses and negative equity in many instances.

Real estate business is a matter of enough knowledge on the business, acceptance on risks and big investment of money. Many country suffers big loss on their economy that's why real estate is not that successful on them while on others, it is their major business. Before you start, study first your country's economy, study your competitors and as well with their strategic business plans, know your targeted customers and lastly, take the risk. Goodluck!

One issue that arises out of real estate investment is the fact that you can lose a lot more than you put into it. For example if you buy a property at a purchase price of $100,000 you will be financing that purchase with a mortgage that could be up to 90% of the property value, i.e. a mortgage of $90,000.
If the value of the property were to fall to say $70,000, you have now lost $30,000 from your initial investment of $10,000 and are in a negative equity situation. Unfortunately I know all too much about this from personal experience.

Hi,
Real estate business is a profitable business but now a days in some countries it is badly disturbed. Such as in Dubai, where the value of property is going down and down. Investors are also not attracted towards Dubai estate. So, in a country like Dubai, investment is useless and chances of risks are high. In which country you are going to start your real estate business so that I could guide you according to it`s real estate economic situation.

I didn't have luck in real estate though i'm still continuously blogging about the interesting and controversial reclaimed land in our place as the City is developing the Asia's best beach front properties. some interested investors actually called me about it but it seems like i can't talk well and i end up letting them call to another agent. :D so i just get percentage of the agent's earnings :D

Real Estate business is good. And for you to be successful with this, you must : Find a location to set up your business. A real estate company should have high visibility from a busy street, as people often come into a real estate office on the spur of the moment. Then get a business license from your city or county. Find out what other requirements there are for setting up a new business. Next is, contact the local board of realtors and become a member. Membership will give you access to the latest laws and regulations in the industry. And become known in the community by joining local real estate agent tours. Also become a member of the local chamber of commerce. You should also hire real estate agents. Choose agents who have the same goals and work ethics as you do. Then, get listings (properties to be sold). And finally, market your company and your listings.

Hi,
I would like to suggest you that yes, go with it. But not with Dubai real estates because it is badly disturbed now a days. Investors are not attracted towards it because of its current economic condition. So, real estate business is good one if you have experience and interest in it.

There is a huge market for real estate and business owners can make the most of the online rostrum by making the best of online purchase and sales across geographical boundaries. To optimize sales online, it is very necessary to think of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies for your real estate business.Every real estate agent wants his or her website to rank well in the search engines. With so many buyers and sellers online these days, it's a no-brainer. That's where real estate search engine optimization (SEO) comes into the picture. Real estate SEO is the act of improving an agent or broker website for better search engine visibility, which equates to more website traffic and general success online.Any website that ranks first on top of the search engine is the website which is most viewed by the niche audience. Not only this, you will also see a significant increase in brand value too. Your business is recognized in a better way when you opt for online real estate transactions

Hello,
Real estate business is a good way to invest money, prices for property goes high with every day and very less chances to loose of money. Before investing in property always check the location of land, future development and if possible try to get more information about government project near by site. Every new construction or development around your property increases prices of land.
I have not bought any property yet but as you said about interest rate are going low, it can be a good time to invest in property . We can get property at low interest rate and can earn more in future.

I think the time is right to get involved in Real Estate business as property is down to it's minimum in the current situation. If you are an investor then it is a bright opportunity to invest as after a year a handsome amount can be obtained through this simple investment. I think the big fishes are now concentrating in gold and other collectibles but as they divert their attention towards property prices will sky rocket.
