Lakshmi Mittal is certainly an interesting character. Him and his family were listed as number one on the Sunday Times 2009 Rich List (http://business.timesonline.co.uk/tol/business/specials/rich_list/rich_list_search/). Quite an achievement for someone who "lived with his extended family on bare floors and rope beds in a house built by his grandfather".
