What this idea does is make plain website photos into interactive ads. It's caught Google's eye too. (http://tech.yahoo.com/news/ap/20090412/ap_on_hi_te/tec_web_photo_ads)

Pixazza (http://www.pixazza.com) is a fantastic concept and I'm delighted to see that Google has invested in them.
You can see how website owners can use Pixazza to generate revenue here (http://www.pixazza.com/publisher/). Imagine how much money Flickr (http://www.flickr.com) could make from using this on their site.

It reads and sounds like pizza so it should be good. If there was one innovative business/product that I would have wanted to say "I wish I thought of that", then it would be Pixazza.
It's very innovative and would probably the way most advertisers will want their products advertised very soon. Just from one picture alone, you'll already be able to see which stores are selling the individual products.

Very cool program. I work SEO and I think I'm going to suggest this to a couple of my clients.

The link does not seem to be working for me. But it appears to be a good program. But it should help increase the value of websites make the site more fun.

The Yahoo news page does appear to be down, but you can view their home page at http://www.pixazza.com/. I'm surprised to see that they have the same photos on their home page today, as the last time I looked. I would have expected them to constantly change the photos displayed in order to keep the home page fresh and appealing.
