It's quite a nice forum. Not too fond on the theme as I find it a bit basic but overall it's a good forum.

My first impression is that you have a little too much advertising on the site and that this could be a little irritating to your members and visitors. Consider how far your visitors have to scroll down before they can actually see any content on the site that would be of interest to them.

I think the overall of your forum is good and your theme could be better chosen.
To follow up on what Fergal has said, maybe you can shift the ads portion all the way to the bottom as to allow the content to appear first for the visitors to see. Rather than having them to scroll over the ads portion before viewing the content.

The header is too crowded with advertisements and it comes off kind of intrusive. This could cost you some users.
There is a blank space in the navigation menu that should be filled or taken away. The little things matter.
