An interesting list, I had expected Harvard Business School to be number 1, but I see that they are at number 3.

I guess that Harvard Business School came up 3rd because the University of Pennsylvania and London Business School are both tied at number 1. Looking at the rankings and weighing in FT (Financial Times), there's not that much difference in the stats of the top 3 business schools.
In Singapore, I've only known of Nanyang Business School (ranked 24) and National University of Singapore (ranked 35) but according to the FT rankings, we also have Insead (ranked 5). Without this thread, I wouldn't have known this otherwise. :)

One thing I forgot to mention (Sorry for being little bit proud of it!!!:D) that an Indian Business School- ISB (Indian School of Business) was given 15th place, a straight 5 places jump from last year ranking of 20th.
Also I would like to know your views on how these ranking affects an Individual mindset as a student or Employer????

I would say that the rankings are important and do influence applicants. If I was looking for somewhere to do an MBA for example, I'd certainly look at those rankings before making a final decision.
I'm delighted to see an Indian business school in the rankings, it will not only benefit the college, but also the economy of it's surrounding area.

1-London school of business --Fees £45,500 not include books & living expenses or $65,622.86
15.Indian School Of business---Fees $40,000 or Rs.1960000 in all....
14. IMD, Swizerland----Fees CHF151300 or $129,872.77 in all
This is some of the figures I searched through net.& wonder how many people really afford to take an MBA degree from these top 15 institutes..Investment is heavy both in terms of money & hard work that one has to do after getting admission..!!!
One point to be noted here is that seeing the ranking & fees structure of ISB, is it a better option than other B-Schools in ranking 10-15?????

It's certainly more money than I could afford. However, banks may be willing to fund some graduates if they can demonstrate that they have a successful education and career background and that they will substantially increase their earnings by completing the course.
The Indian option would help save a lot of money, not only are the fess lower, but living expenses would be a lot less in India.

Certainly Fergal...India has got many advantages if we access all the points like quality of education which is at par with global level, fees structure which I suppose is lowest among all top B-schools, then salary after completion which is also good & many other points like infrastructure, faculty etc......
That means a complete package with quality which comes with value for money services guaranteed..:D
