Some software like that mentioned by Scifi can already be downloaded from the internet for free. They can either be freeware or shareware. Most of the sites mentioned by Scifi are either freeware or shareware. There are also Open Source (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_source) softwares and these are also free.
