My girlfriend and I want to go on a fantastic vacation soon. We were looking for suggestions. Anyone have any great locations? A way to save some cash would be nice too. Traveling is wallet draining these days.

Welcome to the Business Advice Forum Sally.
I think that you're one of the few who doesn't necessarily go with the flow. Most people nowadays forgo going on vacations and just plan to stay at home because the the financial crisis, but not you. Good for you Sally. If you're planning on going on a vacation, why not try going to Singapore? The bad thing though is that Singapore is also an expensive place to go to.
Most travel agents would suggest going to third-world countries first. Aside from going on a vacation, you can also do a lot of shopping because the stuff there are cheap. Try to avoid Thailand though because there are violent political rallies that currently happening there.

Hi Sally and welcome to Business Advice Forum. Thanks for joining our business and personal success community.
What type of holiday are you looking for, are you looking for something adventurous or do you want to lie on a beach?
What activities do you like to participate in, on holiday?
Will you stay in the US or do you wish to travel further afield?

Welcome to our business and personal success community Orgarbaky and thanks for posting. I've merged your thread with Sally's, because the questions are very similar.
Orgarbaky & Sally, it will be easier for us to give you helpful suggestions if you tell us a little more about yourself or the type of holiday you are looking for.

hi sally......i don't now your budget but if you can afford a trip outside US...........i would recommend you to have a trip to india........its not that i m an indian and because of that i m suggesting you to visit india..........1 thing wish stand out is that india is cheap and if you are planning a trip outside and you have finance crunch than you should visit a place which gives maximum output or fun in least amount of money..........india gives you both........
you'll be able to see new exciting things.........can have many adventurous experiences.......and can see the oldest culture in the world with minimum coversational dificulty (which you can face in china)...........and with spending very less money........in dia also if you spend time in a part called Himachal Pradesh...........then you'll surely have atrip that you'll remember for your life time..............
if my advice had helped you in any way .............i would like to answer to your queries relating to visit to india...........
