We will choose the winner tomorrow morning. However, the competition will only close once we have had valid entries from at least six different members.

If it's anything I wish then I can post almost anything here.

Are you going to look for something about the anything in particular?

That something might be the thing that everyone here will be hoping for.

By tomorrow, something will come out of this and everything will be revealed.

We'll then know the winner of this anything contest.

out of an aeroplane I always wanted to jump!! fall towards the earth at supersonic speeds..break the sound barrier on your own would be really nice, I had done a bungee jump the next natural progression is a little higher into the sky. I have fear of heights that is why I do it

I hear that bungee jumps are more frightening than parachute jumps. When you do a bungee jump you see the ground coming towards you much faster.

I like the sentiment of facing your fears. When I hear of people not doing something because they are afraid of it, I say to myself that I can't think of a better reason to do something.

Don't know whether bungee is scarier than sky diving as I haven't done the latter!! But my friend who has done it says it is an experience worth dying for, Saving money for it($1300 dollars) for the adventure trip package and I have to go to srilanka to do it!! We have only hang-gliding and para sailing in our city too bad

I don't think I could ever handle to bungee jump or parachute... My fear of heights (more specifically, a fear of falling and dying) is too great for that.

As for anything, "blessed is he who expects nothing for he shall never be disappointed," a quote that generally describes my take on a lot of things. If you get your hopes up or expect anything more than absolute failure, you're just going to be crushed if that thing does end up in failure. However, if you expect that it could end in failure, then nothing can put you down.
Of course, you sort of have to put yourself down a bit ahead of time, kind of like getting immunity shots.

I've never tried the normal bungee jumping before either but I've tried the G-MAX The Ultimate Bungy (http://www.gmax.co.nz/) on a dare here in Singapore. I thought my heart would drop when the G-MAX shoot up and then plummet down to planet earth. It did that quite a few times before it finally stopped.

"blessed is he who expects nothing for he shall never be disappointed,"

This is a quote like from that of a zen master. As most zen quotes and sayings, it is easier said that done. Have you mastered your expectations and no longer expect anything Zantetsken?

The video on that website looked like a frightening experience. How can people try such things?!

As for the quote, I suppose I'd say I haven't entirely mastered it, but I rarely expect anything more than the bare minimum of things. It does help me avoid disappointment, and it can also be kind of nice when something you expect to end poorly ends well instead.

..."blessed is he who expects nothing for he shall never be disappointed," ...

Personally I wouldn't agree with that one. People often get what they are expecting. If you don't expect much, you probably won't be disappointed, but you may not get much either.

I am thinking on the same lines too fergal . I mean why should I not desire to do things?? Even a Zen master desires for being desire less!! I think aspirations are the key to achieving something!! if you don't aspire you will be not achieve anything. Gandhi desired for freedom, Mother teresa desired for peace, Alexander Fleming desired to find an antibiotic...Desires drives us, for the good or bad I dont know It depends on your desire!!

I think that there are more active members than that in the Business Advice Forum bojomojo. It's just that the members are not always logged in at the same time. Considering that BAF isn't even 1 year old yet, I think it has already achieved some level of success as compared to other forums that started at the same time.

Well, it would be terrible if a business owner constantly expected failure because then they probably wouldn't even try. However, I think it's a pretty good quote for general situations. For example, if it was your birthday, I think it would be better to expect no presents/congratulations/etc. than to set your mind on your friends or family throwing a huge surprise party for you.
Or let's say somebody buys a lottery ticket... Some people gamble and expect to win, and they sometimes even rely on winning to be able to pay debts or bills. Someone who doesn't really expect to win would probably be better off because they probably wouldn't put themselves in any danger.

Hello Admin,

BAF should hire some professional Business Advisors to post once in every week. And there should be separate section for "Business Problems and Their Convincing Solutions" And where the thread related to serious and critical problems should be moved to that section and Business Advisors will reply with geuine and supportive reasons once in every week.

I think this is a forum not a business consulting company!! If you hire an business consultant for an hour you need to atleast get 1000 UV per day to meet his salary!! That is not practical

I wish i could have flied in air like birds. I wish i could have lived my life with no worries and tensions of pending work. I wish i could know my identity and reason of being here.
We live according to what our parents tell us and remaining we learn from our surroundings. We study then work to earn money, marry, have children and at theend when our hard work and struggle for life ends our life also ends..I wish i could have lived my life differently....

Your life isn't over yet; it might not be too late to change the way you live it. You probably won't be able to live a care-free life, but that doesn't mean your life has to be controlled by others and filled with despair either. If you don't want to spend your whole life working, you could try to get a job with less hours, but enough hours to pay for necessities. You don't have to marry or have children; most people seem to think that's "the way you're supposed to live life", but it isn't. You have free will, so you can make your own choices.

Being controlled is like being in prison. At first you're being controlled by your parents. After that, you are being controlled by your work. It doesn't have to be this way and you can still change the way you live your life. As Zantetsken said, you make your own choices in life. So if you choose to live a carefree life, then so be it. Remember that the journey is just as important, or even more important than the destination. So enjoy your life because we only walk this path called "life" just once.

well said nazreen!! you have a choice for living your life !! When you are confined to certain routine day to day work or rules or whatever your body and mind begins to get depressed and depression is one of the biggest problems facing the medical fraternity today. sometimes You cannot be controlled you have to be free. As bruce says "live free or die hard"
