I really like the concept behind that 1st site design, I particularly like the format you have used for the Contact page. The design is very original and looks professional. Will you be building the site using HTML and CSS?
The logos look OK, however they could probably be a little sharper.
Your latest design, from what I can see in that image, look extremely sharp, professional and appealing.
I really like your T Shirt designs and personally I'd be happy to wear one of them.

I am still thinking about the design of my portfolio. And yes, I will code them myself..
I can sell you the t-shirt .psd (but I will keep the original one) as I don't do shipping.

I really liked your designs and it does look sleek and professional.
Guess what, you made me one of your future customers :D
I'll think about letting you to design a T-shirt that I could print to advertise my blog on my friends.
May we know how much do you charge for these?

the "Crop Out" T-Shirt looks really cool to me, I really like the original concept behind it and even though it's a little geeky, I'd probably be happy to wear one. I'd say you have a talent for T-Shirt design and perhaps you might consider taking it further and working hard to sell your designs.
Good luck with it!

Well, if they can't hire you as a fll-timer, I think they could hire you as a part-timer.
As Fergal suggested, ask your parents about this. Maybe they know a good company that could help you earn a little "extra" for your studies.

I like the concept behind that design, but agree with GekiDan that it is difficult to see. Have you considered making the "tie" a different shade so that it stands out more?
Does the T E stand for anything in particular or is it related to T Shirt?
50Cent
Sat 24th Jul 2010, 08:09
I will change the color and post the latest design. I am trying to blend in the color with the t-shirt collar color. The T E is nothing particular.. It is just T the tie stands for I then E.

You and me both, Fergal LOL. I know I'm getting older because I dress for comfort.
FWIW, I read the Tshirt as saying TIE and had to go back to see what you were talking about there with the T and the E. Keep the design, 50Cent! I like it. :D I agree maybe even a little paler shade of gray for the tie and neckline and cuffs would work better or a complete contrast like a neon orange or lime green or even just white. You could do a range of colors.

I can see the "J" and the "G" but it's not immediately obvious - very clever, well done. The logo doesn't include the name of your site in text, will you be adding that?
Kay
Sun 12th Sep 2010, 02:32
First I thought it was "i" and an "n" with a flourish, and then when I thought about the name I could see the "j" and "g". As Fergal said, not immediately obvious, and clever nonetheless! :) I like it.
You could always add the name inside the square formed by the top part of the g.
50Cent
Sun 12th Sep 2010, 04:32
Yeah i will be either adding it at the bottom or at the side. Does silver blends well with my website header color?

The color seems to be ok but I wonder what would it look like if the text is a little thicker.
And like I have said in the post above, "g" is more distinguishable than "j".

Ok.. I have added the logo onto the website. But i need the logo slightly shift up a bit.. do not want it to be on the line.. anyone know? You're already using a PNG, so the easiest solution (save you having to mess with the theme) is to simply include a transparent area to the bottom of the symbol (although this will result in you having to reduce the overall size of the image, so it might be worth the extra effort of playing with the HTML/CSS to adjust it slightly so it isn't sitting below the nav bar.
At that scale, it's more difficult to make out the two letters. The G appears far too prominent relative to the J.
I'd look at reducing the 'height' of the G, to emphasise the vertical of the J (i.e. keep the existing shapes, just have the top of G meeting the J a little lower down) and I'd extend the 'curl' of the J (the bit sticking out to the left) to match the inner curl of the G.
I agree with making the main text a little thicker, but take care not to go too far. Adding a little outer shadow to the text might also help it stand out, but again, do it sparingly or it could ruin the aesthetics.

Im a little late to this thread, so apologies.
However, I really love the simplicity and theme of this page. http://i28.tinypic.com/2cn9w1h.jpg
Really nice work.
Do you design Facebook and Twitter pages?
Twitter i have done it before but it is a long time ago.. You will have to just give me the exact pixel. I never design Facebook page before nor create one.

I looked at the first five logos, they do not look very professional.
I looked at the first five t-shirts(by the way, the first link is dead), they are alright. Probably something I would use. I know some people that would use them, too.
I looked at the first five web designs, they are very nice but not something I would use on one of my better sites.
