hcted, we are hosted on a VPS with http://www.servint.net/ Servint has provided us with a very stable and reliable hosting platform over the years, their technical support is great and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

A host is a computer that stores files for your site. It is kind of like a big locker, some can hold more than others :)
