What was the brief? I.e. what does the company want the logo to say about them?

Do they want to show what they do or show that they are a modern company? The first few letters "Arachni" conjours up images of spiders as in a "Arachnophobia".

I personally like the third and fourth logos. If the concept is about spiders, you may want to throw in a small even tiny spider on there.

Reply the second one appealed to me most but I have no idea why. I also wondered about the name linking to digital spiders....

I like the 3rd logo because it seems to flow better. But the name of the company is hard to pronounce.

Ok this is my client company name, and he ask me to help him design.

I just posting it on every forum to gain comments. Most answers are 1 and 3.. even my client say that too.

The third one looks alot better since the image itself is somewhat looked like a rotated "S" which kinda represent the word "Spider" or "Arachni".
@50Cent, does your client not tells you anything about his site before you make these logos?

Yes he did. He wanted me to present out the digit 8 instead of using the number directly. I just use the box to link with it.

I like the fourth one best, the circles with the lines going through them signify movement and progress to me. They look dynamic and progressive.

...The first few letters "Arachni" conjours up images of spiders as in a "Arachnophobia".

I had exactly the same thoughts.

Because of the digital word. I just did what he requested.

I like the fourth logo. Because this is the first logo that register in my mind, If it happen to me I'm sure this will happen to others as well. A good sense for catching attention.

What do ArachniDigital do?

What type of image are they trying to promote?

They want a spider image which is digital and modern. I did a normal spider before but it does not come out too well.

I liked the fourth one most, the rounded bodies looks much better then the square boxes.

I think this one is their official site: http://www.arachnidigital.com/
From what I see, they are offering free web based applications to replace or as a substitute to offline ones

Wow what a difference. I like the second of these where the name is in green and a little more spaced out. The h and n running into each other in the top one looked a little confusing/hard to read.

Ok thanks.. But i will be making another concept soon and post it here.
Does the logo look like a spider to you guys?

I agree, but I'd also like to see two different colours used in the second one, to differentiate between the "arachni" and "digital" words.

Definitely, the image and it's association with the word "arachni" is very clear.

Ok thanks for this comment. But to my client, he is not keen with it.

So i wipe up another concept according to digital and modern, please tell me if this has this two term.

I like the third one best, from that selection. Have you considered using an image depicting a spider web in the logo? That would encompass the Internet / web and the use of the word "Arachni" in the business name.

Err.. nope.. Hey fergal, the logo you choose does it have the two terms as mentioned?

I would say that the font / words in the logo do reflect a digital and modern image. You might be able to improve this a little more by using a capital "D" in the word "Digital" and perhaps by making that green colour a little stronger.

I'm not sure that the image part of the logo communicates those two concepts. What does the symbol you have used, mean to you?

The image at the side is to bring out the symbol 8..

To be honest, it doesn't really look like an 8.
Have you tried using the Infinity Symbol?

50Cent

I know it is not easy to spot the number 8. My client does not want me to use the digit 8 directly. He want me to use shapes to represent them.

The third one because it's better not to have a straight up image with a straight text and the fourth one doesn't look so good to me ;(

Have you tried the Infinity Symbol? This symbol generally looked like an eight.
