Your directory looks great Volux, the design and layout are very professional in appearance. Some suggestions that I would make are as follows;

A cutom designed and professional logo could help inspire visitor confidence in your directory and to improve your branding by including the directory name
Add a suggest category link on the blog, to get feedback from your visitors as to categories they would like to see added. You should be able to get a PHPLD mod for this
Make your URL's search engine friendly - e.g. http://www.webernetonline.com/business rather than http://www.webernetonline.com/index.php?c=28

I notice also that you previously sold Standard Links, but are now offering them for free. What was your reasoning behind that change?

Good luck with it.

For me you need to change the side bar color links (green) to something similar just like your website (Blue). Second you need to change your logo. It doesn't look good if you ask me, third is your footer links, for me it would be better if you just move it to the left side and not in the middle of the page. - thanks

Your directory's design and layout seems to be ok.
But your sidebar is quite empty. How about adding something to fill that out for the mean time? Adsense ad maybe?
And I can't hardly notice your Searxh Bar. Can you make it more noticeable like adding borders on the text box or making the box white?
And I also agree with Narci about the links in your sidebar.

Regarding the categories, I think it needs the categories: Services, Directories, News and Reviews.

Well that is one of the more nicer design for a Web Directory, which is a good thing I think. You might want to try to get rid of that blank area on the right, so either push the sidebar all the way over or something.

The inner pages and links are really nice as well. What you could end up doing is making only the "premium" listings have that side screenshot and stuff and people would have to pay for that and the rest just have a normal text listing. Look at the listing for http://www.xemion.com/ what I mean.

Though, overall I can't really see anything wrong with what is there and what needs to be done, keep up the good work.

it seems there are too much empty space in right sidebar :D
you should at least use the spaces for banners, links, etc..

I checked my blog in your listing and I noticed that the Page Rank is N/A. But my blog is PR3.
Is your Page Rank calculator working properly?

what can i say, I like you directory site Volux, but you can improve it more.... the people who noticed the empty sidebar are right. shoot it with some ads or something....the category list you have in the home page are not aligned well, and in some case, the font sizes are not formatted correctly too...overall, your site is nice looking, just don't forget to work on the empty sidebar man.

Your website layout looks fine to me nothing much.
Maybe increasing the size of your logo? It is abit to small to me, and it is pixel a little.

Volux - I think it looks great. Very professional.

The logo and branding is simple, clean and has a Web2.0 feel.

I'm not so keen on the blue bars on the category pages. The little "flick" up at the left edge looks odd. I think if it dropped down like the right hand edge it would like better.

I'm interested in the script you used. How would you rate it for ease of set-up? Did you look at any other options and what did you think of them?

I've added some links by the way (under the name Mike).

Good luck with the site!
